Different Projects This Summer

Some of the projects I've been working on this summer. Several were gifts, and some are in the shop now!

It has been a long time. . . .

And I am sorry. A lot has been going on in my life recently. One brother is away for the summer, and it is hard to get used to him not being in the other room. Enough about that. Here are two necklaces that I just listed:


And here is a picture of a wedding/special occasion crown that I hope to list this week. It is made of silver metallic embroidery thread and has been embellished with AB Swarovski crystals. The circumference is about 12 inches, and the whole crown is fairly stiff.

Dainty summer necklaces

New necklaces in the shop!

These are vintage lockets with the exception of the silver one above. All of them have been embellished with tatting; the silver and the pink cameos also have braided hair around them. In the shop now!

Finally - New Lambs!

Here are Rachel and her two ewe lambs Annie and Alice.
And here is Phoebe with her triplets: John, Fanny, and Margaret! Praise the Lord, they are all healthy and doing well!

Homemade Bread!

Here is a picture of a loaf of freshly baked bread that I made recently. It is in a plastic bag because I forgot to take a picture before I bagged it! Oh, well. . . .

New Interest in Flowers!

Here is a sample of my new interest: designing miniature flower arraignments! The whole thing takes up less than 6 inches square, and gives me a chance to use some of the delicate wild flowers that grow around my house.

New Necklaces!

Here are the necklaces/chokers I've listed in the shop tonight. I have enjoyed putting them together. Most of them have magnetic clasps - a new feature!

Miscellaneous tidbits about me and my life. . . .

To the right is one of my brother's ewes with the lamb she had last spring.

To the left is the same ewe with the same lamb, just as a newborn! I was stunned to see the color change over the year.
We usually have lambs in April, so I don't have any lamb pictures to post this year yet.

Fresh and Bright Pendants

Just in time for Spring! Here are a few of my new pendant designs in the shop now.

I am going to be attending and selling dresses and jewelry at a Civil War era reenactment in April, Lord willing, so I've been rather slow about getting all of these posted. Maybe I'll get pictures of those items posted soon!
