Thanksgiving is special in my family because the whole family (4 generations) gathers at my mom's house. It's hard for us to get together these days.
I love Thanksgiving - my favorite holiday, as it is the least stressful. It's about nice company and a good meal and relaxing with each other. We don't go anywhere and we have extra folks over, folks who don't have family, and it's fun to do.
I apologize to Sharon D. for accidentally deleting her comment; I am posting her original comment here. (I deleted it from the blog, not my inbox.)
It is a time when all the family gets together and remenber those who are no longer with us. By telling some of the funny things that has happened in the past.Love the necklace.
Thanksgiving is special to my family because it is a time of wonderful fellowship around delicious food. We think of special things we are thankful for and we often rehearse skits and Bible verses for each other. Sometimes we play games and music together. We also read from Psalm 107 responsively and sing. Thanksgiving is a fantastic opportunity to thank God for our many blessings. (Love all your creations! Very beautiful and creative!)
Thanksgiving is special to me because it is a time to share what the Lord has done for us over the past year. It becomes a time of worship and praise for His tender mercies and compassion on me. Love your work, Alana!
