New Lace Jewelry Designs!

The Burgundy necklace is one that I have had finished for a little while, but never got around to posting. It has lots of Swarovski crystals dangling from the lace, and shiny beads at the sides and back. The thread is actually embroidery floss, so the thread in this necklace is very soft.

The Green necklace was a gift for a friend. It was made with freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals.
Here are the matching earrings.

Another view of the necklace. My camera was acting up a bit, so the pictures aren't the best quality. Perhaps another time it will work better, Lord willing.

Both are very Pretty necklaces!! I really like the green one. Interesting design. I like where the beads are placed with the three motifs hanging off them.
Thanks for showing these!
Have a great day!

Pretty! It looks like you've been busy. I like the way the beads are done on the green necklace, too! They look great on both necklaces, but the way the motifs are hanging off really offsets the tatting! :)

Thank you both! I was playing around with different designs. The Lord was so kind to give me these designs.

I am trying to get back to tatting and love the green earrings and just wondered how you added the beads to your tatting.

Well, sometimes I sew them on after I finish tatting, sometimes I string them on the thread before I tat, and sometimes I add them with metal eye pins.

The maroon necklace has beads sewn on; the green has them strung on eye pins.

Hope this helps!
